California Overload

My lands. I've been to San Francisco, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Disneyland (3 days), Morro Bay and Monterey all in 1 week. Since I've already posted pics from San Francisco I'll post some from the other places.
I took this picture while standing in the hollow of another tree.
Barry, Cassidy and I were inside this cabin when we had a surprise shower of rain. Right place at the right time.
I like the color of this moss.
We decided not to go down this road when we found out it was long and lead to nowhere. (Just kiddin')
In Cayucos there were a couple of pelicans chillin' out on the pier.
The view from our table at The Great American Fish Company restaurant. Their fish tacos are excellent.
Stuffed Shrimp at Bubba Gump's in Monterey. Off the hizzle fo' shizzle.
This sweet ride was in Morro Bay.
I didn't use my camera at Disneyland but I had a blast. The new Cars Land was right up my alley (no pun intended). It wasn't crowded so we spent an average of 15 minutes in line to get on a ride. One incident that happened at Disneyland was when Barry had just taken a picture of The Tower Hotel and a cast member that was standing out front of the ride asked for his camera. He seemed serious, especially with his deep voice, and it appeared we were in trouble. When Barry handed him the camera he handed the camera to me and posed with Barry, so I took their picture. We thought that was so cool.

  1. Just one question - did you spend more money on gas than you did on food and lodging?? Sounds like a lot of fun!

  2. Hey Kathy. Suprisingly no. I spent about $450 to $500 total and about $60 of that was for gas. We used my car for the San Francisco and Sequoia/Kings Canyon trips and Barry paid for the gas.
